Do you live in a small space and do not have a lot of room to put shelves on the wall? Well, there are a lot of creative ways to add shelving to use for extra storage. An awesome idea is to use hidden space in a wall by adding some DIY recessed shelving.
Making DIY recessed shelving is not really difficult, but it will be somewhat tedious. You just need to take out a section of drywall on a wall to expose the studs. The space in-between the studs is what you will use for your shelving. A drywall knife or a power tool is required to cut out the drywall.
Just some brackets and insert a piece of wood to make DIY recessed shelving. A power drill will need to be used to attach the brackets to the studs. All of the materials you need can be found at a local hardware store or home improvement store. Instructions to make your own DIY recessed shelving are available on azdiyguy.com here…
