A single piece of plywood or OSB is all you will need to make a laundry basket dresser. You will need to measure and cut the pieces that will then need to be attached with screws. Some wood glue might need to be used too. Just make sure your laundry basket will fit inside the box.
You can use strips of wood or even some metal angle for your laundry basket dresser. If you want to customize the dresser, then add some hinges and then attach some doors.
