The process to make a braided rug from old fabric will not be as hard as it may sound. You first need the fabrics to use for the project, a yard stick, and a pair of scissors. The fabric needs to be cut into long strips that are the same width and length.

A needle and thread or a sewing machine will be needed to make a braided rug from old fabric.
