Do you enjoy the flavor of smoked food and want a way to do this at home or when camping? You may be surprised to know that you do not need to spend a lot of money to do this. In fact, you just need a few supplies to make a flower pot smoker.

A large terracotta flower pot is all you need to make a flower pot smoker. Just make sure that the flower pot has a drain pan that is also made of terracotta. A plastic drain pan will not work. You will also need a small grill grate, an electric burner, and a handle for the lid.

Making a flower pot smother requires drilling holes in the terracotta pan. This is so you have holes to mount the handle and to insert a thermometer.
