Make A Fruit Fly Trap

Do you have a lot of fruit flies that invade your home every summer? These pests always seem to be in an area where fresh food is being prepared. You can even have fruit flies in your home during winter, if you live in a warm climate. A simple way to address this problem is to make a fruit fly trap.

The process to make a simple fruit fly trap at home is actually really easy. All you need is a glass jar, a bit of tape, and some paper. A mason jar or any type of jar that has a lid will be perfect. This trap takes less than five minutes to set up.

A piece of a banana or other fruit is all you need for bait when you make a fruit fly trap. The key to the success of this trap is making your funnel really small so the flies cannot escape. Instructions to make a fruit fly trap to use at home are on here...
