All you need to make a rustic wooden tray is a few 1x3 slats and a few other supplies. You will need to use a saw, a nail gun, and some wood glue for this project. Four wooden slats should be enough. These could come from an old bed or some other source.
One thing to keep in mind when you make a rustic wooden tray is adding handles. This is super easy to do if you have some extra cabinet hardware handy.
