The best type of cork to use to make your DIY cork sandals is a cork tile. You can find cork tiles at most home improvement stores or even online on sites like Amazon. Two tiles should be all you will need to make a custom pair of sandals.
Some foam padding or rubber soles will be needed for your DIY cork sandals. The foam or rubber will be necessary for support if the cork gets wet.
