Are you looking for a simple way to keep small trees and shrubs watered? Maybe you have a garden to water, but do not want to install an expensive irrigation system. All you need to do is use an old hose to make a DIY soaker hose.

Making a DIY soaker hose will be really simple to do. All you will need is a power drill and a hose cap that you can find at any home improvement store. The cap will keep the water from coming out of the other end of the hose. If you can't get a hose cap, then bend and tie one end of the hose.

A DIY garden hose is a perfect way to keep a garden watered. Just cover your soaker hose with mulch if you want to keep the water contained. Another option is to add a timer so the water will come on at the time you want. Instructions to make your own DIY soaker hose can be found on here...
