Do you have some scrap wood left over from a recent project? A great way for you to use a couple of pieces of wood is to make a DIY flower box. Adding a flower box or two around your home will be an ideal way to add some visual appeal.
Your 2x4 boards are all you will need to make a simple DIY flower box. The box will not need to have a bottom as you will simply place it on the ground. You are basically making a square frame to plant a variety of flowers. Figuring out where it will go may be the hardest part.
If you want to take this project a step further, then use 1x6 boards for your DIY flower box. This wll be the easiest way to make a unique raised garden bed.
